On September 20, 2006, I read some poems on WBAI on the City Watch program at 10 a.m. The host, Deena Kolbert, asked that I give out my email address in case any radio listeners wanted to get in touch with me.

Hi Mike,
I heard you read some pieces on the WBAI program this morning. Tell me, do you have Deena's e-mail address?
Thanks.

SUBJECT: soldier and woman poem you read
Hello Mr. Topp,
I was moved by your poem about the soldier who dies. But I think you made up the part about the locusts nesting in the lady's heart. I just don't think locusts do that.
