Hello Mr. Topp,

I was moved by your poem about the soldier who dies. But I think you made up the part about the locusts nesting in the lady's heart. I just don't think locusts do that.

RST friend Kim Bosch checks in before heading west again.

Right now I'm back in Ontario doing some research. I have decided to attempt to write a book. This is all I will say before I psych myself out into fetal position. The research is taking place at my parents cottage NORTH NORTH NORTH of Toronto and so there is no email, barely a phone connection (it's wonderful really). Right now I am typing this at the library in the nearby town of Barrie's Bay Ontario. There is a stuffed beaver in the doorway with a sign around his neck that reads, "Busy Beaver Seniors Reading Club". There is also a poster on the wall of a black bear standing in a pile of books that says "Learning to Read Is The Bear-necessity."
