Recently a friend of mine asked me to make a mixed
tape (cd) for her. This request sent me searching, not
for songs for her, but rather for a copy I had of the
first 'mix' I made for a girl (yes, I tend to make
copies of things like this).
(Dec 1998)
Amy was a waitress who wanted to become a
model/actress. She actually did some work for Sears as
a model in the female intimate apparel section of
their catalog. That was the pinnacle of her career
before she decided that it was time to move back home
to Kansas City to live with her folks and work at a
pharmacy. In doing so, she left me with 10 songs and
the memory of her.
